Journal Author Club

Driving Change

WCEI Journal Author Club

Researchers spend over a year writing a paper. Yet, publishing houses sell these for high prices without compensating the authors. This model excludes students and researchers from their monetary benefit, especially those from low-income backgrounds. WCEI will take the initiative to form a Journal Author Club with internationally reputed authors who can sell their publications (if legal) at a cheaper price and eventually donate voluntarily if they wish. The price rate will be standardized in collaboration with WCEI.

Accessibility & Equity

We explore how students from developing countries can access journals affordably, ensuring cultural and academic exchange aligned with the SDGs.

Partnerships for Progress

WCEI partners with academics, NGOs, and donors to conduct research and host global conferences—measuring real impact on local communities.

WCEI Publication Model

We aim to launch a publishing house through a social business model, offering fair royalties to academics and affordable access to students.

We want to share a quote from Griffith University, about research and human right:
“We will combine our disciplinary excellence with interdisciplinary strengths where appropriate to achieve life changing outcomes – consistent with our vision, “to transform lives and add to human knowledge and understanding in a way that creates a future that benefits all .” Griffith University

Declaring research as a human right will empower not just academics, but entire communities. It validates their work and ensures knowledge truly reaches the grassroots.

Not Donations, But Publications

The model reframes the traditional donation system into a knowledge-based cultural empowerment platform, where education, mentorship, culture and research are the “currency”. It aligns well with ethical, cultural, and global empowerment goals because it directly connects contribution to knowledge creation and community impact.

Be Part of the Impact: Empower Change Through Knowledge Transmission!”

Knowledge transmission is a powerful catalyst for sustainable social transformation. It goes beyond the simple sharing of information, enabling individuals especially women and marginalized communities to gain the confidence, skills, and awareness needed to shape their own futures. When knowledge is effectively transmitted through education, mentorship, and research, it creates pathways for inclusion, leadership, and innovation.

Strengths

  1. Promotes Accessibility: Charging a small fee or donation for access encourages commitment while keeping knowledge affordable.
  2. Reinvests in Knowledge Creation: Funds go directly into research, mentorship, and community programs, reinforcing the cycle of learning and empowerment.
  3. Ethical Framing: Framing contributions as “support for knowledge transfer” rather than selling content emphasizes education as a public good.
  4. Encourages Participation: Members who contribute feel ownership in supporting knowledge dissemination and the mission of the organization.
  5. Ensuring Academic Empowerment: Generates recurring funds for continuous research, publications, and mentoring, creating a self-sustaining educational ecosystem.

Save Our Scientists

Scholarly Writing & Co-Author Support

Paid: $60 / 1000 words

In many developing countries, there is a shortage of skilled academic scientists available to provide legitimate co-authorship and mentoring services.

As a result, students often struggle to publish in high-impact journals, which can hinder their scholarship and career potential.

Operational Charge

A 10% operational fee will be applied to all authorship and editing services.

"Leading publishing houses typically require new authors to collaborate with experienced academics before acceptance, which is crucial for intellectual engagement and empowerment."

Scientific Assignments & Project Services: Fostering Global Ethical Citizenship

Although our primary focus is on Higher Research Degrees, I have realized that scientific writing and critical thinking must be strengthened from the school to the university level. Cultural gaps in communication often prevent students from fully understanding and interpreting academic content, leading to misunderstanding and miscommunication regarding soft skills.

To address this, we offer Assignment Support Services that help students integrate scientific reasoning with cultural awareness. Our goal is to strengthen their thought process, enhance their ability to communicate clearly across cultures, and prepare them to become globally responsible and ethically minded citizens.

A Global Ethical Citizen is an individual who understands global interdependence, respects cultural diversity, and acts with integrity, responsibility, and compassion toward others. They make decisions based on ethical principles, human rights, social justice, and sustainability.

Such a person recognizes their role in the global community and contributes positively through informed actions, critical thinking, and respect for both people and the planet. A Global Ethical Citizen values dialogue, cultural understanding, and collaborative problem-solving to promote peace, equality, and collective well-being.

Knowledge Transfer and Cultural Empowerment:
Flourishing Ancient Wisdom for Modern Inclusion

Hinduism

Guru-Shishya Parampara (Oral Tradition)

Knowledge was historically passed from teacher to student orally, ensuring accuracy through rigorous memorization techniques. This ensured the "unbroken lineage" of the Vedas.

Wisdom vs. Information

While knowledge is information, wisdom is the application of that knowledge to life (practical know-how). The Bible emphasizes "doing" rather than just hearing or accumulating facts.

Buddhism, particularly in the Theravada tradition, includes the practice of transferring merits (positive karma) to others, promoting selflessness and compassion.
