Malama was a comprehensively knowledgeable, kind, and diplomatic person who was a Professor at Auckland University, New Zealand. He was such a down-to-earth person and never comfortable chatting about his distinguished profile. Furthermore, he liked to read my pieces of work with very concentration and always sought permission before editing. I was astonished by such generosity and curiously searched Google Scholar to learn more about him. I explored that his numerous notable publications, which were very staggering and have made him a public figure in the Asia Pacific, can be compared with our renowned author, Humayun Ahmed. As such, I began to explore the moral ethics of his culture and learned that the niche is “Mutual Respect,” which eventually enlightened me to forecast a new philosophy to thrive.
When people from home and office scolded me as “MAD” to push me to the edge of the ditch, at that time, Malama saved me as a human being with dignity and respect! During departure from Bangladesh, he almost weeping to leave me alone to handle everything. He came to my office, put his hand on my head, and whispered, he had never experienced such an unconventional woman and exotic intellectual throughout his entire academic life. Nevertheless, he reassured to provide all the support to do a PhD in Australia and requested to apply. I kept persevering and got the PhD scholarship at Griffith University, Australia. I needed to have two recommendation letters for the university, which were provided by Malama and Dilip Sir.
When a man transforms from a person to a human being, he remains very heavenly like an Angel. If he wants a woman to be a Monalisa, Doctorate, Author, Poet, Scientist, Good cook, that eventually educated her to be a complete human being.
Those cultures who are oriented to food and clothes as a means of getting love and respect, it seems very tenacious for them to sense “Mutual Respect” just like the conversion of a crow to a peacock. I was thinking deeply about this and left the PhD research sometime to write poetry, which was never published. However, this time I am convinced to publish this poetry so that any ‘MAD’ woman can stand up to become the astonishing Monalisa of true genius Leonardo da Vinci!
