In my experience writing about cultural empowerment in Prothom Alo, I have come to understand that this is a relatively new topic for readers. Today, I would like to discuss cultural empowerment with the readers. It has two main foundations—tangible cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage. Research has proven that the role of intangible cultural heritage in empowering women in developing countries is much more deeply rooted. This is because women have been working as the main bearers and bearers of creative arts, oral traditions, arts and traditional crafts for ages. In the context of Asia, this women-centered tradition still works as the main force for cultural preservation and empowerment.
